Finally after a long, long while I'm actually able to write something mmu-related. I'm really amazed that people still add me to their neighbourhood although my Vox blog has been stagnant for so long. I do look forward to getting to know each one of you :)
And now to the updates...
Way back in August I was an extra in a commercial that involved a whole day outdoors in the blazing sun, doing take after take. Thanks to that experience I ended up with a fever that lasted several days (maybe heatstroke?) but worse - my face and neck ended up being a shade or more darker! What saved me was the LaurEss Original Creamy Yellow foundation I bought from Lili which just about matched me. I wore that exclusively for weeks. I still lamented the loss of my original skintone. I mean, I was never fair to begin with but I didn't want to be any more tan than I already am. That's just me.
If that didn't make things worse, I had ordered a whole bunch of mmu samples from various websites and when I received them I found that most of them were too pale for me - in particular all five samples I got from LureBeauty! Ugh! :( Disappointment!
But then... our dear Lisa came to the rescue! After a bazillion emails back and forth on glycolic acid, she sent me a small sample of DermaDoctor 20% Glycolic Cleanser. After using it for a week, this stuff had the effect of subtly lightening/brightening my skin! The difference was so subtle I didn't even notice it until one day I discovered that the foundation samples that were too pale on me now started to look like a match! Oh it was a happy, happy day! Just yesterday I dug out my stack of Lure samples and Y9 which previously was still too light, is now quite a perfect match. I'm thrilled because I really like the smooth and light texture of Lure foundations. I tried Y8 somewhat hopefully, but that shade is still a bit too light for me. I found I can also wear Meow Frisky-Manx in the Pampered and Purrfect formula! My only problem is now I don't know what to do with my slightly darker foundations that used to be a match. I think I will just hang on to them for those times when I get too much sun again.
Anyway, due to financial constraints I'm trying not to sample anymore at least until 2008 rolls around. I also counted all my samples and found I have maybe 20-30 of them that are still full but which didn't match me. I wonder if anyone here would be interested in buying them?
What to say about MMBB Peachy Beige? It works, it doesn't, it works, it doesn't. LOL. I washed my face as usual today, used tea tree oil followed by GoW Cucumber HA Serum. The serum has a very delicate cucumber scent, very refreshing, non-sticky and makes a good base for MMU because it's slightly mattifying. It's clear with a thick consistency but it absorbs right away. I then used Meow Undereye Concealor in Naughty-Angora on my blemishes and it did a great job of concealing with the yellow toning down the redness but not being totally obvious that I had something on. Very nice and a good shade match. I followed it with Peachy Beige, a tester sample I got from Lisa. My first impression was that this is a wearable colour for me but it did look a little peachy compared to my more yellow-toned neck. The depth however, seemed just about right. After an hour I could still see a slight difference between face and neck. But after wearing it for most of the afternoon, it seems to match me a whole lot better. Only thing is it did darken like maybe half a shade which although is still fine, isn't really the look I'm going for. It does make me look very healthy and bronzed (in a good way), like I just got back from a beach holiday. And although I'm sure the formula is the same as the other MMBB foundations I've tried, this one felt good on my face today. And maybe it's a combination of the HA Serum, concealor and foundation but under certain types of lighting my face actually looks rather flawless.
I finally broke away from using MMBB True and tried Ruby Sparkle instead on cheeks and lips. Ruby Sparkle is a very pretty shade all around. On cheeks it gives a very subtle whisper of sparkle which is only really noticable when you get up close. Otherwise it makes a nice blush-red and has good staying power. On lips it goes a medium-reddish pink, giving a bit of colour without being too in-your-face.
Tan, Yellow Beige and Peachy Beige seem like great summer foundation shades for Asian women or women with yellow-undertones. It's funny but after testing all these MMBB foundation shades I keep thinking "I think Lili would like this."
Due to lack of internet access and all, it's been awhile since I've really had time to update so this entry will be quite a long one!
Veena Velvet: I've been wearing Lumiere VV foundation for over a week and I don't think it is making my skin worse. I am getting a bit of acne right now but I don't think it's due to the VV. Also after wearing it for long periods of time (think half the day) I didn't experience any tiny pustules popping out which is usually a sign that the makeup is irritating my skin. Anyway, this is great because I do like the texture of VV very much!
MMBB: Lisa from MMBB was sweet enough to send me test samples of two new foundations she hopes to carry in future: Yellow Beige and Peachy Beige. Thank you, Lisa! Side-by-side in the baggies they both look very similar and are close or identical in depth to MMBB Tan foundation. Peachy Beige does look slightly more peachy compared to Yellow Beige. So far I've only worn YB and I found it to be a great match for me! Upon application the shade really looks perfect. However I think it does darken a smidgen after I've worn it a few hours so I'm curious to see if Lisa may eventually make a slightly lighter version. Otherwise, I may try to lighten it with a bit of Bright Eyed. I honestly don't think the darkening is obvious to anyone but myself, knowing how I scrutinize my foundation. I probably look like I got a little bit of sun but in no way does it look unnatural. YB will probably be the answer to Asian girls with medium to tan skin and yellow undertones looking to find a match with MMBB :) Formula/Texture-wise the jury is still out for me... MMBB doesn't make me itch, breakout or make my face feel tight but I'm not sure if it sits well with my rather oily skin despite the presence of kaolin in the formula. Sometimes I think it's just the weather though. Heat and humidity just tends to make me feel uncomfy no matter what. I will probably save this as a night time foundation or if I know I'm going to be in an air-conditioned environment for most of the day.
Meow: My Meow order finally arrived! I ordered samples of Manx in Frisky and Naughty and a sample of Abyssinian in Frisky as well as a couple feliners and their Intense Medium bronzer. Frisky-Abyssinian totally shocked me when I first saw it. It looks positively white with an uber-pale yellow tinge! I have no idea how I'm going to wear it and I haven't tried it yet. Really if their Frisky-Ab looks this pale I can't imagine what their Sleek and Inquisitive shades must look like. Frisky-Manx in Purrfect and Pampered looked pale too but not as white as Abys. Today curiosity got the better of me and I pulled out both Frisky-Manx samples, picked the one that seemed slightly darker (Pampered) and applied it over my freshly cleansed face. In the baggie, the foundation looked much paler than the other brands I normally wear but surprisingly it didn't look at all pale on my face. It might have been a tad light when I put it on but after wearing it awhile I checked my face and it had settled down into quite a good match! I only wore it for an hour so I can't really judge the feel of it, but the one gripe I've always had about the Pampered formula is that it doesn't really cover any of my imperfections or even blur the edges. I actually find that Purrfect is slightly better in this respect. Anyway, I haven't really tested Manx properly so maybe it's too early to tell. I sure do agree with everyone that Manx is yellow! I find it so strange that Frisky-Manx looks much paler than Naughty-Angora yet when I wear it, Manx matches and looks yellow-toned while Angora tends to be a bit pale and not quite yellow enough. Oh well, I have always found it hard to understand how Meow works!
Garden of Wisdom: My GoW order arrived at my friend in CA a few days after Markey sent it out. He flew to Malaysia on Saturday and I met him on Sunday for tea and to collect the goodies. After he left for his next appointment, I sat in my car and eagerly ripped into the box! I'm a very patient person in real life (honest!) but not when it comes to opening online purchases! And what a beautiful sight were the contents of the box! Adorable bottles and jars in various sizes, all very good quality materials, perfectly packaged and neatly labeled. Yes, it was instant love! My favourites are the Mandelic Acid 10% (5ml) which came in the cutest pump vial and the HA Serum which although is quite viscous, just sinks in instantly the moment I smooth it over my skin! I've never tried anything that absorbs as fast as this so I'm absolutely thrilled. I love how the serum seems to be mattifying, perfect for wearing under MMU. The famous Lemongrass Cleanser is also quite delightful. I'm not sure if its exfoliating properties are a little too much for me and I don't think I can use this everyday. But after emulsifying it with a little water, cleansing my face with it and rinsing, my skin did feel incredibly soft and smooth. Plus the lemongrass scent is so refreshing! The only blot on this otherwise perfect order was that a bottle of camelia oil was accidentally left out! However, Markey being the angel that she is, responded to my email right away and sent a replacement out the very next day. Gotta love customer service like that. I'm already dreaming up a second GoW order. So many other products I just want to try! I've only just started using my products so it's hard to say if any effect is taking place yet. My Mom was also very curious about all the bottles and spray mists and I think I may just convert her to natural products sometime in the future ;)
Lumiere: And finally, what bonafide MMU-addict can resist a good sale? I totally caved the moment I heard about Lumiere's 33% off birthday sale and ordered a whole bunch of things including a travel size VV Med Warm, more samples and a 9-pc brush set. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I hear my bank account screaming now.
I think I'm retiring Meow for now. My Manx samples are still nowhere in sight so I don't feel confident ordering a munchkin. I also can't seem to find a match and I've gone through scores of their foundations in various formulas. Either the formula is right but the colour is too dark or not yellow enough or the colour is ok but the formula is too heavy or sometimes both formula and colour don't work at all. I still haven't found a shade that makes me pause and think... 'Heyyyy! Now this could be it!'. Instead my reaction most of the time is just... 'Hmmm... okaaaay... hmmm' Even Purrfect N-Angora which I'm wearing right now doesn't seem to be as perfect as the name implies. Under certain types of lighting it looks ok but when I move to another window or other patch of light it looks a bit pale and ashy. I'm quite sad about it because I love the way this foundation feels, or rather the way it doesn't feel like anything at all. Even the 60/40 Purrfect N-Angora/Purrfect N-Chartreux (Spring Mix) that I wore this morning wasn't quite right. A bit too much peach I think. I also can't afford to buy two different foundations just to mix so at this point in time I won't be committing to any Meow foundations :(
I wore Sizzle again today on cheeks and lips and think I'll be getting a fullsize of this and some firefly and feliner samples. As much as I like Meow's other blushes I don't really like the fact that some of them contain carmine and all of them may contain traces of carmine since they are blended with the same machinery. I don't actually have anything against carmine but I have a tendency to use my blushes as lip colour all the time and I don't want to forget and end up swiping bug extract on my lips and probably end up consuming it, LOL :P It's all good though, I can easily get my vegan blush fix elsewhere!
I'm kinda bummed that the MMU company with the nicest, most affordable foundation formula, with numerous foundation shades is the one that I'm finding such a hard time getting a match with! Oh well, at least I get to save my money for other things ;)
Edited to add: I'm also wearing Meow Undereye Concealor in Chartreux on spots and undereye area. I'm still seeing a little bit of cakey-ness so I'm thinking maybe it's the synthetic brush I'm using or my application/prep method. Otherwise, it works well for undereye but I think I need something more yellow for spots. I'm also getting oilies so I don't think it's just MMBB in particular, it's just that my skin has a split identity and thinks it's a frying pan.
Updated: Great, Purrfect N-Angora actually looks pretty good like TWO hours after I put it on. What do I do?!?!?!
I think I'm at the end of testing all my Meow samples. I still have the concealor in Naughty-Chartreux but I don't think I'm going to try that as foundation because I just haven't been having much luck with Chartreux anyway. Today I wore Pampered Naughty-Abyssinian which I got in a swap with Wern. This shade really wasn't too bad in terms of colour but I would have liked it to be a bit lighter. So far with most of the Naughty shades I've tried, I haven't really found one that made me go 'Wow!' the moment I looked in the mirror. You know that shade that makes your complexion look brighter and come alive, where you scrutinize your face looking for flaws but can't find any? Where just looking in the mirror puts a smile on your face because of how pretty you look? Purrfect N-Angora is probably the only exception. I still can't really wrap my mind around the possibility that I could wear Frisky.
I'm trying to go through the shades I intend to take on my trip, sort of giving them a few trial runs. For blush, I wore Twisted Fayte Spa Day - my first time using it as blush. I'd previously only used it as lip colour and it works well to give my lips a soft pink, my-lips-but-better hue. So why was I not surprised that Spa Day makes a beautiful blush too. It was quite similar to Fyrinnae Bewitching, with perhaps slightly more pink-rose tones. I am SO SAD that Twisted Fayte is no longer in business because I would love a full-size of Spa Day. As it is, I hoard what little I have of the sample and know it will be a dark, dark day when I run out.
On eyes, I did a thin line of Fyrinnae Tabloid (Dark charcoal with green sheen) wet-lined with a tiny flick at the end (not as bold a flick as I'd do with black/brown liner). Tabloid is a rich, deep green liner, almost like a very dark green-teal. It's supposed to have a charcoal-coloured base but really all I saw was a green sheen. It definitely makes a nice change from blacks and browns and it didn't clash at all with the rose-pink of Spa Day.
I'm having a headache figuring out what to pack since I'll be away for about a week and a half. Clothes, makeup, hair stuff, skin stuff, and a long list of appointments to keep track of and errands to run! Ugh. I'm also starting to get nervous about going down to KL and for crying out loud, today's only Friday! At least my skin is behaving itself which is something I'm always grateful for. Maybe one of these days if I get insane brave enough I'll post an old picture of myself from 2+ years ago when my skin was at its worst. I cringe a little when I happen to see those pictures but they also remind me to be thankful that for the past year my skin has improved so tremendously.
I am doing much better today! I think all that sleep, good thoughts and medication did wonders :) Just hope I don't relapse now!
So today I went on a sampling frenzy in order to weed out what colours I should wear on my trip and so on. I also wanted to finish trying my Meow samples before I go away this weekend. In the morning I used Meow Undereye Concealor Naughty-Chartreux as foundation and it seemed all right. The match wasn't perfect, a bit ashy around the edges but still wearable. I liked the feel and coverage more than Flawless Feline but I did seem to get a bit oily after only a couple of hours. In the early evening I tried Meow Purrfect Frisky-Korat just because I had some lying around. To my amazement, I could actually wear Frisky! The colour was still a bit off (not enough yellow) but the depth wasn't too bad at all. I expected to look like a mime or something but no, Frisky was really quite good. Now I'm in a quandrary because I'll have to try both Frisky and Naughty Manx in all the different formulas, as well as Frisky-Chartreux. Here's to another sampling frenzy.
At night I wore LaurEss Elemental Soft Gold and while this also looks like a wearable shade, it doesn't seem to match well under certain types of lighting. Overall, it's not bad though.
Daytime blush and lip colour was Fyrinnae Kabuki. This is really too strong a cheek colour for daytime so I think I'll pull it out for nighttime use when I'm in KL. I have to keep reminding myself to use less of this everytime because it is so, so pigmented. I used a little and thought it wasn't enough. Then I added a bit more and it was too much! I blended like crazy and then it looked much better. The one thing I like about Kabuki as a lip colour is that it lasts and lasts. I used a little mixed with lipbalm over lipliner, and hours later after a meal and washing my face with water my lips were still stained a rosy red.
At night I used Meow Sizzle on my cheeks and fell in love with it all over again. A fullsize is coming to me sooner or later! I buffed it first on the apples of my cheeks, then lightly under my cheekbones and finished by dusting it in the number '2' shape from temples to cheekbones. I love the natural bronzey look that I get and I think I'm going to be wearing this for interviews since it's not too over the top. I also wonder if I'm weird for doing this, but when I apply mineral blush I don't do one cheek first then the other. I load my brush then go back and forth very quickly from one cheek to another doing equal swipes/circles each time. This seems to be the only way I can get both cheeks to be even without overloading on blush and having to go back to fix things.
I've also been practising lining my upper lashline and doing that little flick at the corners. Daytime I used M.A.D Minerals Chocolate Matte (Rich, chocolate brown) from a sample Wern sent me (thanks Wern!). Chocolate Matte was not as dramatic as my black eyeliners so it made a perfect daytime liner and stayed put all day. I couldn't get the flicks to be even though! The left eye looked much nicer than the right. Bolder too. Oh well, I still have time to practise. For nighttime I wore Fyrinnae Ultrasuede (Matte, velvety deep charcoal brown) and managed to do more even wings this time although I made them more subdued. I also tried lining just the outer 1/3 of my lower lashline as suggested by thepinkpixie and while my eyes looked great, I also noticed the lower lashline colour start to smudge after 3-4 hours =/ Ultrasuede is very different from Chocolate Matte in that it's less of a true brown and more of a very dark grey. In fact it reminds me of moleskin :) I really like them both and I think they make good brow colours too.
I'm half dreading going away this weekend because I don't know how much online time I'll have. I'm guessing not a lot. I don't think I'll have bad withdrawals but I shudder to think what if there's an MMU sale and I won't find out about it!
Today's blog entry will be short because I think I am coming down with something and my brain feels like it's detached from my body. I saw the doctor today, got some fever meds and a bunch of vitamin supplements. And I've been eating rice porridge for both meals along with a ton of chopped garlic. Yes, I smell really good now. Other than that, I've just been sleeping and doing everything on autopilot. I hope I feel better tomorrow! It sucks to be sick and have to take care of yourself :P
Although I didn't feel like wearing makeup today, I dug out my sample of Meow Purrfect N-Chartreux and wore it. I didn't bother with blush or anything else. Well, N-Chartreux in Purrfect is a great match for me. Maybe second in line to Purrfect N-Angora. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it made me look a bit darker than I really am. As though I had a slight tan. But otherwise it looked very natural and I can definitely pull it off. My face did get pretty oily after a few hours but I liked the fact that I looked like I wasn't wearing any makeup. You could still see my acne marks and pores but my skin did look quite even and I can always blot the oil. Judging from how good Chartreux looks on me, I think N-Manx may really be my shade. I'm tempted to order it in Purrfect alone but it seems more prudent to also try it in at least one of the other formulas, Pampered probably. If I do what Lili does and mix some Angora into my Chartreux I think it may be just right. But I'll save that little experiment for another day.
I bought a trial-size bottle of Sun Play Powdery White SPF47 Sunscreen yesterday because I was in the market for a new sunscreen. I wanted one I could use on my face too so I picked up a small 6g bottle of this. It was the only variant with the best-sounding ingredients (eg. not too much parabens, no alcohol etc) and Sun Play generally gets good reviews around here. I used a drop on the back of my hand the other night and it absorbed quickly and was non-sticky. So this morning I took the plunge and used it over my tea tree oil and followed it with a layer of Purrfect N-Angora. I checked my face on the way out and my foundation didn't look right. It looked kind of... ashy. Not the way I remembered it yesterday. I was running late for church too and didn't have time to redo it so I hoped my blush and lip colour would make me look ok!
After the service was over I checked my face in the washroom again and the colour still looked a bit off but better than when I first put it on. Not glaringly off but just a tad. Could it be the sunscreen I used? It does contain zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I wondered about it because if this is how Angora really looks on me then no way am I getting a bigger size of it!
I got back by mid-afternoon and since I had to go out again around 4pm I washed off my makeup and redid it without the sunscreen. Much better! That was a huge relief, at least I know my eyes weren't playing tricks on me yesterday. I still like the sunscreen but now I know not to use it under this foundation (not sure about other brands, haven't tried them yet). I'll just save it for no-makeup days. I like that the sunscreen is watery and doesn't leave any residue behind. It contains a handful of silicones including dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane but so far it doesn't seem to aggravate my skin :)
I also think I can get away with not wearing concealor if I wear Angora because the yellow seems to neutralize my red acne scars to a certain degree. My skin doesn't look flawless but the scars are somewhat blurred and the overall redness is reduced. If it was a special occasion I would definitely bring out the concealor but I think for everyday Angora alone is enough.
Blush-of-the-day was Fyrinnae Bewitching (Light rose shade with a slight pink shimmer). I think I've worn this at least once before but I don't think I used enough of it. Let's just say that I totally underestimated this blush from the start. In real life it looks a rather unappealing shade of greyish lilac so I thought it was more like one of those all-over-colours that would be too light for me. My caucasian friend in the US had sent me a small sample of it so I just figured "It probably shows up on her fair skin but I don't think it will do anything for me." Since I was in a rush this morning and looking for a blush I hadn't tried I decided to give it another go. I scooped out about 1-2 sifter holes worth and started buffing it lightly on my apples with my EDM baby kabuki. Wow, talk about colour change! This blush is SO PRETTY. It actually looks a lot like the picture on the website. The description also fits perfectly, to me it looked like a light-medium rose with some pinkish tones and a whisper of peach. Very hard to describe but trust me, it's beautiful. It's depth is very similar to Meow Harlot only with more rose and less peach. I couldn't see the shimmer really, which is good. Bewitching looks completely natural and it definitely shows up on me. I would want a fullsize of this too. I think I've learned my lesson now. When it comes to Fyrinnae, don't think oh that looks too bright or this looks too light. They make great stuff and not only their eyeshadows, but their blushes too are worth every penny. Now I want to try them all!
I was beginning to give up hope of finding a match in Meow without mixing until I tried Purrfect Puss Naughty-Angora today. I think this is it! I expected it to be just ok like the Pampered version was, so I was really excited when it seemed to be a great match! It looked ok when I first put it on but it looked even better after I'd worn it awhile. I think Purrfect is my favourite of the three Meow formulas. I've read that it made some people itch really badly but I wore it for a few hours and my face felt fine. I was afraid it would be too sheer but I used about 1 1/2 dry layers, nothing else and it looked like medium coverage to me. It also didn't pool or cake up and it felt so light on my skin. Now I understand why some ladies say wearing Meow is like wearing no makeup because it feels so weightless. AND if that's not enough, Purrfect is also the cheapest of the Meow formulas, ha!
I really want a munchkin in this shade now. Heck, a fullsize tub maybe. I also still want to try Manx. Addict? Who you callin' an addict??
But what I'm really, really lemming right now is this. Have you ladies seen it? It is so cute and perfect and wide and synthetic, and it's calling my name!
... about Naughty-Korat being at the bottom of the list. I'm wearing this today for the second time since I got it and it looks the best so far. I wonder if I previously got it mixed up with N-Mau which is really just so-so, not as good as N-Abyssinian.
Today I prepped my face as usual and used Meow FF Naughty-Korat (Golden beige undertones). It took a little while for the foundation to warm to my skin but it matched better after an hour or so. I still don't think it's quite there but so far it's definitely leading the pack. I think it would look better if it was a smidge lighter and maybe a little yellower. This FF doesn't look too cakey this time, I think because I used a bit less foundation. I was probably too heavy-handed yesterday. Have to remember that FF is not like PP, you don't need so much!
These are all the different shades I've tried so far (some were tested in the past) in order from best to worst in terms of colour:
- Flawless Naughty-Korat
- Flawless Naughty-Abyssinian
- Pampered Naughty-Angora
- Flawless Naughty-Angora
- Flawless Naughty-Mau
- Flawless Naughty-Chartreux
- Pampered Naughty-Chartreux
- Flawless Naughty-Siamese
My biggest problem with FF in general is that they were not yellow enough. And I found that almost all the Naughties I tried, with the exception of Angora, were a bit too dark. I also discovered a sample of Purrfect Frisky-Korat I forgot I had. I think it's too light for me but I'll try it anyway or maybe mix with something else.
I still have Purrfect in N-Angora and N-Chartreux to try, as well as the concealors and another sample of PP N-Abys. Maybe next time I should sample PPs in N-Korat, N-Abys and N-Manx and maybe a Frisky or two? And I want undereye concealors in everything just because they feel so good!
Apart from foundation, I got lazy and didn't use anything else on my face except Fyrinnae Mesmerize (Medium berry shade with no brown tones) blush on cheeks and lips. This blush looks super pink on their website and it looks a bright fuschia in real life but it goes on so beautifully and naturally that alongside Kabuki, it is one of my favourites from Fyrinnae. It makes a medium rosy-toned lip and cheek colour and since you can control how intense you want it to be, I think this could work on a variety of skintones and depths.
-------------------------------------------------
I heard back from Ashley at Meow about my eyeshadow sample and she asked me to take a picture of it and send it to her. As you all know I don't have a camera right now so I can't get a picture for oh, a couple more weeks maybe. I asked on the Meow forum and two people said that Bite! actually looks really purple in real life so maybe I did get the right sample after all. I think they should change the description then because it's very misleading. Although I like Meow IdealEyes, I don't think their ModernEyes (which have only gold and silver sparkle) can compare to the complexity I see in Fyrinnae's very pigmented sparkly shadows.
Sue also sent me some samples and a dual-ended brush and they arrived today! One end of the brush is for shadow but it's synthetic so I plan to use it for concealor. The other end is angled, just like the brush I already have so this will be used for eyeshadow too. They are both really soft :) She also sent samples of Lumiere VV Medium Warm and VV Medium Beige for me to test and more samples of Lumiere Black Cherry, Clear Radiance and Desert Rose. And finally two samples of M.A.D Berry Spice and Lavender Corrector. Thanks Sue! :D
I also received another package today that I thought was other makeup I ordered but turned out to be the two foundations I bought from Lili! EDM Winged Butter and LaurEss Original Creamy Yellow. I can't believe it only took a week to arrive all the way from the US west coast! The Winged Butter doesn't seem to resemble the sample I have though so I am not sure if it will work. But I'll try everything out over the weekend and then decide.
So thank you Sue and Lili :) You both made my morning a very happy one!
