MMBB, Meow, Garden of Wisdom And More

Hey Jade! I am glad to read that the VV may just be working for you. I am starting to love Lumiere and it is quickly climbing to the top of my HG list, but I don't think I can wear VV. I am too scared! I'll stick to the FF and Luminesse, even if the latter also has avena sativa. I agree, Lumiere's texture is freakin amazing! I have temporarily put Meow on my Wishlist because I am on a NO BUY, but I do appreciate your extensive testing and sampling of their products because I just know that I'll eventually be following your footsteps. I also need to make a GoW purchase. All you ladies are beating me at the benefits of all her products. Haha! Tell me about the bank account! Haha! I also got the 9 piece brush set and so did so many of our fellow addicts. Cool!

Yes, markey is tres cool, isn't she? =D I worried that the lemongrass cleanser might also be too harsh for my skin. But I used it every day when I was in Asia, and my skin was fine.

OH..... you got the 9 piece brush set =/ I tried doing that last night and it didn't work =\ It was really late.. you know how it goes. and my log in didn't work. I took that as a sign.

But it's bumming me out that everyone else is getting that set. *grumbles*
[this is good]

OWhhh!!!! GoW!! Can't wait for em!! ;) That HA Serum sound good...arghhhh!!! It's on my wish list...:P

Yes..Meow is SOo complicated for me! :P Remember when we saw Pixie's sample of Sleek? It's practically white!! Hmmm..the depth difference is just really, really huge!

Daize - GoW is lovely. Somehow true natural products just feel and smell so much better than commercial stuff. It's almost therapeutic! But you have such great skin already, you probably won't need as much stuff ;)

gemini - You used it everyday? Hmm... I will probably try that eventually when I run out of all my other cleansers. It did feel rather abrasive at first but the after effect is really nice. Keep trying with Lumiere! I think the sale should still be on. Lili was having problems with the cart too but she eventually got it to work. I never had a brush set before so I just thought I'd get this one. With the discount it's almost as cheap as the pre-buy price. I really could use all the eye brushes and I want to ditch my ancient powder brush for the ones in this set!

Sue - Your Veggie Azulene Cream is on my list! It looks so delectable in the jar, I keep wondering how it would feel on the face. And it's packaged in a slightly bigger jar so you can add your own actives to it. Pretty cool!

[this is good]

Christina, I got the brush set too!! It's just USD5 more than the prebuy price. and the kabuki. *huge grin* Now we're one big happy Lumiere brush ho family! I'm hoping the GoW will roll in with the postman later this afternoon. Going to post your Alima later too. I already had my 2nd GoW order when I made my first one last time. I must try the HA serum on next! Re MMBB, I've been to her site umpteenth times looking at her 20 sampler set. Too bad her foundation has kaolin in it. If not it would be great to sample. My meow samples have arrived too, will be getting them next week. Manx and Absyinnian in both Frisky and Naughty. :)

Sue, I absolutely have to have the veggie cream next time too! :)

Is there really that big a difference between natural skin care and store bought stuff? All this while, I've been holding off buying skincare (eg green tea soap from Camellia Rose, Lure body butters and sugar scrubs, GoW Lemongrass cleanser) because I'm not entirely sure how effective they will be in comparison to the pharmacy or Body Shop equivalents, which I can physically touch and feel before I buy. But now I'm not so sure...

Pixie - natural skincare has no added chemicals, which is good for the skin!! Gotta take good care of our skin while we're still young! Well..while you are still young. LOL..I'm already 25! Ack!

If you take a look at Body Shop's products, check out the ingredients list. It's really long, with loads of chemicals. Not good. And since you're already using mmu, why not natural skincare? *winks*

wern - Thanks! Does your skin not like kaolin? I find my skin is ok with it. You could always sample the blushes and e/s from MMBB, most don't have kaolin ;)

pixie - Yep, what Sue said. I also like knowing that I'm paying for quality natural ingredients, not products laced with chemicals, preservatives, fragrances and dyes - that are also potential irritants. At the moment it's impossible for me to go 100% natural with every single product I use on my body but I try to make sure only natural products touch my face ;)

Sue - Hey I'm older than you! Now you're making me feel old! LOL. I agree, The Body Shop isn't all that different from generic stuff you can get at pharmacies for cheaper.

Jade/Sue: Lets not talk about age! I'm older than both of you! ;-) HA! Its kind of a bummer about the Body Shop, I have a scrub from them & 1 of the 1st ingredients is sodium laureth sulfate :-( I do find since I started using organic Castile soaps that my hand eczema cleared up. Seems it was the nasty chemicals causing! (DEA, triclosan etc)

Lili- I have the yellow beige & peachy beige available for sampling.

You're all a bunch of KIDDIES! :)

Lisa - I will be in touch!
Haha!!! Lili & Lisa, age is just a number! :D

Jade, Yellow Beige sounds very interesting!
