A Long Awaited Entry

That sounds like heatstroke!! :-/

Lol, I've gotten tanned too. And most of my matches are no longer a match. :P Oh, you can wear Frisky? Wow, I look like a zombie with Frisky. Lol. Glad you are able to wear Lure though.

Hmm, what foundations do you want to sell? Haha, if I have the $ I *might* just get them off you. :) Maybe you can use the darker foundation for contouring?

Maybe I need Glycolic Cleanser to lighten my dark neck...or just pour acid. :p

p/s: what commercial that you appeared in? :)

Glycolic is awesome Sue! It can be used on the neck & it does have a slight bleaching affect I just did another glycolic peel tonight! Love!!

Hey Jade, maybe Light Yellow beige would work better now?

Really?? Hmmm...might work for my dark neck. I've just started on lemon juice + sugar as a scrub, and I remember that lemon juice has bleaching effect...so maybe this would work?

I'm a little hesitant with glycolic peels as the ingredients might be too harsh for me. :-/ Having sensitive skin, I need to analyse everything in the ingredients label...*sigh*
I'm sensitive & have eczema & it works great! The glycolic does the same as microdermabrasion, scrubs which is more tugging at the skin.. I find it to be gentler Maybe patch test on the area where jaw/ear meet if the product is properly buffered should be a breeze!
Sue - I love the glycolic! My skin is really fussy and reacts to some products but not to others. It didn't react to the glycolic cleanser at all (well, it just felt really soft and clean after that, and progressively fairer) and most instances I left it on my face for the whole duration of my shower, which was when I used it. I can wear Frisky but only in Manx is it yellow enough, I think. And only in PP/PP is it the right tone. FF seems to be on the lighter side. I'm too much of a lazybones to do contouring but I find if I use too much of any foundation it tends to make my skin look cakey and dry :( If I do contour, it's only with bronzer. I have a long, long list of foundation samples that I can forward to you, and whoever else is interested. Oh and I was in a Yakult commercial which I haven't even seen because I don't watch TV anymore! LOL

Lisa - I should give LYB another shot :) Thank you again for all the advice on glycolic!
Yakult?? hey there is a new Yakult ad on tv...I need to watch it again! Lol.

Maybe because we are oily, foundation goes cakey? I find if I layer too much I get cakey too. :-/ I'll have to re-try all my Meow again. :p

Btw, if most of your foundation are in the yellow tones, then it might not work for me. I really don't know what happened to all my yellow tones, it has disappeared and I'm more olive now! >.<
Sue - Is it the ad with people walking back and forth outdoors or the ad in the (fake) laboratory? We shot both those on the same day :P
I don't know what my skin is these days. It's kinda oily but also flakey and even one layer of mmu makes the flakes show up sometimes. I think my skin is more combination now and I still have the few odd zits - hooray.
I guess most of my foundations are of the warm yellow sort. Let me dig through my list and let you know. Have you identified any shades that are a match?

i am so tanned and red now from a saturday out in the sun. i wonder if any of my foundations will match me now.

and welcome back! i hope i can get to know you better! i loved reading all your previous posts!

mmichellee - Thank you! Drop me a line anytime :) I hope your sunburn subsides soon. That's what happened to me in August! I think the mmu I was wearing shielded my face somewhat but my shoulders that were exposed and unprotected got really red and sore.
